Custody, an Indian period action thriller released in 2023, was writer-director Venkat Prabhu's most ambitious project to date. The film, which was concurrently shot in Telugu and Tamil, stars Naga Chaitanya, Aravind Swamy, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, R. Sarathkumar, and Sampath Raj among its ensemble cast. Produced by Srinivasa Chitturi under the banners of Anji Industries and Srinivasaa Silver Screen. Interestingly, this movie was Naga Chaitanya's first in Tamil cinema history.
